RHYS MCCARTNEY
My Name is Rhys McCartney. I am a qualified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, head coach, and founder at 1RM Health and Nutrition. The inspiration for 1RM Health and Nutrition came from my own experiences in the industry and the knowledge I’ve gained from that.
Growing up, I was always overweight and never felt comfortable in my skin. Even after years of trying and doing what seemed right, I could not lose the weight until I finally asked for help. As a result, I was able to be educated in both training and nutrition, which led to the results and experiences I have had to date.
It is my main driving goal in life to ensure each person that is somewhat connected to the 1RM Community can be provided with enough education around training and nutrition so that they too can achieve some of the life goals just as I have and, most importantly, stand on their own in their fitness journey in the years to come.
